The new League web site has been designed for:
More Automation
When a secretary puts in a result, they only have to input the names and scores for any match. The web site will know what kind of match is being played, League or Cup, and will produce a check-sheet with or without points. Everything is automatically calculated for you. Then the team secretary can submit the result to the website.
The web site will receive the result, and mark the fixture as being played, update the fixture with the result and produce the downloadable PDF. At the same time, the League will automatically update to show that fixture played and add in the shots and points to the League Table.
Fixture sheets are available in the "Downloads" page, and if you select which team you want, that team name will be highlighted in a downloadable/ printable PDF.
Various areas are being improved, and as things are added, they will hopefully become more responsive and helpful. The website has been tested to ensure accuracy, but as with any new development, it will be closely monitored for anomalies and errors. If you do notice anything untoward, just send a message and we'll get it sorted as soon as possible.
The Results panel on the first page will have up-to-date info on what matches are due to be played and how many of those matches have been completed. Clicking on the individual Divisions or Cups will give the result in full for any match as soon as it is received.
If you have any notices, or tournaments that you wish to share, please contact us and we can place those on this section.
Hopefully this will make keeping up with what is happening easier, and hopefully you'll enjoy using the new site!
Thank you for your patience during this construction phase. Some areas will be added after the League gets under way.
